Musical gut proves strong for rapper Gorilla Zoe

Alonzo Mathis, better known as rising rap star Gorilla Zoe (pronounced "zoo") earned his unique handle on the streets of his native Atlanta. "It comes from the street, fighting," says Zoe, who performs Saturday at the "K97 Summer Jam" at the Mud Island Amphitheater with Plies, Trey Songz, Ray J, and Pleasure P. "I'm fierce with everything. I do it hard. But I can be real cool, too, calm as a gorilla."
