Memphis to host USTA tennis championships

Memphis Mayor A C Wharton and other city officials are expected to announce Tuesday that Memphis will host the U.S. Tennis Association’s Tennessee Adult and Senior State Championships in 2011 and 2012.Wharton and officials with the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau, Memphis & Shelby County Sports Council and Sports Tennessee will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. at the Hall of Mayors, 125 N.
